The scope of this policy

This policy describes Recast Bench version 1.0.0 and the companion website files. Recast Bench is a creative decision workbench. It lets you choose project pieces, test relative tradeoffs and keep named assemblies. The descriptions below concern the implemented app and its data controls.
What you create

The app stores your current project, the choice in each decision bay, the selected constraint, named saved assemblies and a reduced-motion preference. A saved assembly includes its creation time. Names are text you enter yourself. No name, email address, phone number or other identity field is required. Avoid placing sensitive personal information in an assembly name.
Where it is stored

Choices and assemblies are written to Android app-private storage on the device where you use Recast Bench. The app reads that information to restore your bench and show your filed receipts. It does not provide synchronization between devices. Other apps normally cannot read this storage through ordinary Android app access.
How choices are used

The app uses the selected pieces to calculate relative carry, preparation and reset burdens. This is an internal comparison model. It does not measure actual weight, time, price, health, ability or personal suitability. Your selections are not used to build an advertising profile or decide eligibility for any service.
Network transmission

The Android app does not request the INTERNET permission and contains no network client. It does not send your choices, names or saved assemblies to a server. This statement applies to the Android app itself; a website host or your device operating system can have separate network behavior.
Device permissions

The delivered app does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, calendar, phone or shared-storage access. Its project artwork is bundled inside the app. It does not need access to your photo library to show that artwork.
Third-party software

The app uses Android platform components. It does not include advertising, analytics, social-login, payment or third-party tracking SDKs. The companion website uses locally served page resources and does not include an analytics tracker, advertising pixel or embedded social widget.
Backup and migration

Android backup is disabled for this app. Recast Bench does not include an export, cloud backup or device-transfer feature. Keep this limitation in mind before uninstalling the app, resetting it or replacing your device. Any independent device-management behavior is governed by that system and its settings.
How long information remains

Saved assemblies remain in app storage until you remove them, reset the app data or uninstall the app. Current choices are updated as you work. The app does not run a timed retention service or send a deletion request to a remote server.
Removing a receipt

Open Filed assemblies, choose Remove receipt and confirm. This removes that saved receipt from the app. It does not change the pieces currently on the bench. A reference already open in the running session may remain visible until you clear it or leave the process.
Resetting the bench

Settings contains Reset bench data. Confirming that action removes saved assemblies and resets the current project and choices. The reduced-motion preference remains available as a comfort setting. Android system controls for clearing app storage or uninstalling the app can remove the complete app data.
Protecting the device

App-private storage is an Android access boundary, not a promise that a compromised or unlocked device is inaccessible. Anyone able to use your unlocked device may be able to open the app and view its saved receipts. Use your device access controls and avoid sensitive information in receipt names.
Audience and children

Recast Bench offers ordinary creative planning activities. It does not ask for age or collect a child profile. The app has no messaging or public sharing function. People responsible for a shared device should review the text entered into saved names and use the available removal controls when appropriate.
The companion website

The supplied website files do not store your bench data, read Android app storage or use browser local storage. Visiting a hosted copy sends ordinary web requests to that host. A hosting provider may process IP addresses, request times and technical logs under its own practices. This package does not choose or operate that future hosting provider.
Links and navigation

The companion site links between its landing page and this policy. It does not submit forms. If a distributing publisher later adds links, services or other data processing, the policy must be updated to describe that implementation.
Changes to this policy

This policy is dated September 6, 2026. A later app version may change features or data behavior. Review the policy accompanying the version you install. Changes to permissions, network behavior, tracking or storage require an updated explanation.
Questions and distribution

For questions about the copy of Recast Bench you received, use the contact method supplied by its distributing publisher, if one is provided. Check the information accompanying your app distribution for that contact method.
Your controls at a glance

Use Filed assemblies to remove one saved version. Use Clear reference to dismiss the comparison reference. Use Settings to reduce motion or reset bench data. Android app settings provide storage-clearing and uninstall controls. These actions operate on the copy installed on your device.
